Since I didn't read the whole post yet, I just wanted to say that I've rec-ed your Beginner's Guide to EVERYONE that asks for help or even has a general question. I don't think I'm the only one doing that, either. While I haven't actively *pimped* it, I've linked people to it a lot.

*squishes you* I just really really really do want new authors to have easy access to resources that could help because I know fandom can look like a scary place to a newcomer. (Pimping someone else's guide/resource list is also great, of course, I just don't know of another one; that's why I made it after all. It would have been a lot easier to link them to something someone else made. o.O)

Time to get back to oppressing new talent. *grin*
