I spent my morning happily reading fics. (Yay!) So this is just a post to rec a bunch that made me REALLY happy. Er . . . the fact that they all happen to be high rated is a coincidence.

I realize that most of you probably read all of them, as these fics are old, but they're new to me and they deserve pimping. I've skipped a bunch of WiPs but will get back to them, and I've looked around hd_holidays and I'm afraid I'll have to skip many fics as I can't really read angst and then there's always my "The Weasleys' and Hermione's characterizations sensitivity" that made me skip a lot of fic (usually the long ones) since I don't like their characterizations (I don't mean outright bashing; no to that goes without saying). Sorry about that; sometimes just tiny little things bug me. I'm sure you all know how that is.

So stellamoon. WOW! You may have seen some of this art, but I must make this post to fangirl as hard as I can, because I'm amazed with this artist. I'm amazed with a lot of artists, but they're around more and stellamoon is someone I know and have seen around, but not nearly as much as I would like to.

1.) ART PIMP: I can't even tell you how happy I was yesterday when alaana_fair kindly nudged me in the direction of hd_fanart. I knew kawanale requested these, but I thought no one had claimed her prompts. But YAY! The prompts were indeed claimed and the pics are GORGEOUS! You must see them!

2.) Would anyone be interested in betaing my Daydream Series? I thought I might post it at The Hex. But they need a bit more work for that. I know it's a dull job if you read it already, but you would have all the time in the world. It's not an emergency or anything. Typos aside (but there's that) I abuse punctuation, adverbs and pronouns. Mostly, I need someone punctuation-savvy. Please? ETA: Beta(s) acquired! *loves aki_hoshi and eynhashofet*

3.) Possibly a silly question, but I wanted to ask for ages. I just keep forgetting. About the Floo Network. Is floo a verb? In canon, I mean. Was it ever used as a verb? What do you do when you want to say that B used the Floo to reach A? Is it flooed, floo-ed, Floo-ed, Floo-ed? Is it floo-called? Is it just "used the Floo" or something? I just can't remember (or find) an example in canon. But proper search would mean rereading the books. I'll do that one day. Not now. So. Is floo a verb? If not, can I verb it? If I can, HOW? Or I mustn't verb it ever, ever, ever because it's WRONG? Honestly, I can only recall things like "they've travelled by Floo powder" but if fandom made Floo into a verb, I'm willing to accept it. I'm also willing to work my way around this and just use Floo as it was used in canon. What do you do?
