I just have this promise-giving disease! I can't stop myself from promising all kinds of stuff (and I mean it at the time) but then things happen and it turns out I lied. This happens to me in RL all the time, and I just hate that it happens to me here, too. Though, I suppose, it's logical that it would.

Um ... when I do start saying, "Come on, where's the update," (because I anticipate that I will again in future) I'm not seriously upset;

The rational part of my brain (the tiny one) knows that, but it's nice to have confirmation. :D
