Hahaha! No, I knew it was just you. You and your WEIRDNESS. lol. Just kidding. And I wouldn't make you write AS/S for me. I'm perfectly content with H/D. :D

I'm not a fandom H/G shipper. I mean, in canon, I have absolutely no beef with it, beyond the random comment after reading book six of, "There was more Ron/Lavender snogging in that book than Harry and Ginny! Does that say something about Harry's observatory skills, since the books are mostly written in third-person limited?" lol. But yeah, I like het pairings just fine...I just never really read them in fanfiction. lol. I might consider myself a Harry whore too, because I love him to bits! but I know I don't like ALL of the stories I read that have AS/S in them, and make out either family as dysfunctional. I mean, if you're trying to get Harry and Draco together at the same time, that's one thing, but do it without the Ginny-bashing, please. Most of the AS/S I read, though, doesn't have any sort of dysfunction from Al's side...so maybe you were just reading crap-ass AS/S. (I couldn't resist doing that that, you know I couldn't. lol)

The pairing to me that makes me go "bored now", not to mention makes me think the authors are rather dim, is Harry/Hermione. I'm not going to get on that soapbox, but yeah. Makes no sense. But then again, [livejournal.com profile] brixonfire and I disagree monumentally on the subject of H/D. To her, it just wouldn't happen. I think she's living in a box, if she can't see that the origins of AS/S are rooted in H/D. lol. Not that AS/S doesn't have it's own merits that stand on it's own two feet without their father's influence, but you can't deny that some of the time, it's just a, "This is what we would have done with Harry and Draco if WE had played with them!" lol. I should ask her how long she's been in fandom, because if she came in after the seventh book, that might explain some things. She might have been into H/D if AS/S hadn't existed yet...hmmm... lol.

Okay, I'll go and stop rambling now. *hides away*
