So I've been horribly unproductive lately, writing-wise. I sort of kind of have this THING, a plan as it were. A Real Life business plan. I have to plan this well, considering the world's current situation, but basically, I kinda like being home. :D So, I'm thinking, this job thing will have to wait while I plan my "my own boss" plan. Er, that didn't make any sense, did it? Ignore me.

Anyway. I feel horribly guilty for promising all those Xmas fics and then not delivering. I do plan to write them, but obviously they won't be Christmas-y, so all my plot bunnies drowned. Now, I plan to be seasonal again, but I only have the brainpower for one plot. So I'm gonna write a 14-part story (short chapters) for awdt's Valentine's Day Quickies. Yes, I'm already late, and it won't be exactly on time, but at least it will be a low pressure feat (plus, the fic won't actually mention Valentine's). The story is one that I planned a long time ago (though it should have had more angst. OH WELL. Darn.) and it fits with awdt's prompts beautifully. I'll start posting tomorrow, or Wednesday, I think. And then every day for fourteen days, unless I manage to squeeze in two posts a day. Five "chapters" are already written, but I just want to make a proper outline before I start posting, because dude! I need outlines. *sucks at chaptered stuff* I want to make sure I can keep up with my schedule.

Okay, I'll be creepy now, but I must build a shrine to Cheryl Dyson. I must and I will. Hell! I have time. Also, I must find zebrui and either strangle her or kiss her silly. See, I don't read WiPs. I don't. It's a rule! My rule! But nooooo, zebrui had to be all, "Oh you know Cheryl's newest fic? It's one of her best! *dreamy eyes* So awesome!" I lasted two days, but then Cheryl's glove!fic (ALSO a WiP, damnit, Dyson!) broke my resolve. So a WiP rec:

Eh, eh, surely you meant kiss? I'm all for kissing. Not much for strangling. But I know what you mean - it's a torture, a sweet one, but still a torture to read its WIPiness.

And isn't it absolutely glorious? :D I don't remember a fic having me contemplate it so long after reading since Maya's DDG. All those wonderful 'what will Harry do next' and 'oh what is Draco thinking here' and 'how the hell are they going to get out of this one' running through my head hours afterwards.
