I'm not really complaining. I just realized I've missed a TON of PORN and ART because ... I DON'T KNOW! I'm blind? Merely an idiot? I'll totally catch up over the weekend. Of course, everyone is at Terminus *is jealous* so I'm not expecting an influx of new posts.

hd_inspired. :( I HAD TO! It was driving me insane! I'm saying a big NO to fests! God, the pressure! I cannot take it. *crumbles dramatically*
And the bad news is ... Um. Actually, I don't have bad news. All is well.
Right. My reason for posting is:
My plotbunnies are wild and not very obedient, and I say I'll write something and then I don't write it for weeks, SO if you (FLISTERS) have a birthday this month or even somewhere in September (or it was JUST RECENTLY but I missed it) and you WANT me to write you a birthday ficlet, give me a prompt NOW (or a bit later if you need to think about it, just reply to this post).
I CAN promise I WILL write them, but I can't promise I'll write them on time, or in a logical order (wild plotbunnies, I said!) but the sooner you tell me ...
NOTE: Observe that almost everything I write is written for some kind of prompt. I AM a prompt whore, so don't hesitate to ask. If you're a lurker and I don't know you, as long you're on my flist, please feel free to drop me a prompt. I like handing out presents. ♥
What can you ask? You know my two pairings and as far as HP is concerned, sorry, but that's all I can write. (I suppose if someone wants to, they can ask me for Peter/Caspian or a Buffy or a Faith pairing or possibly Jack/Ianto (though these might suck). No other restrictions, except I can't write cross-dressing and please bear in mind that I write SHORT stuff. So asking me to write a "AU non-magic story where Draco and Harry attend high-school and Draco is a cheerleader and Harry plays basketball"*** will result in a strange crazy ficlet of 500 words where I refuse to take your prompt seriously. Or you'll get it in a year or two.

Sorry to hear about hd_inspired, but hey! fanfiction is, over all, about having fun. When writing stops being fun and starts feeling like an obligation that makes you feel so pressured, quitting seems the best option to me.

Ok, so if an AU cheerleader/basketballer scenario is out (darn it, lol), how about a Harley Davidson driving Malfoy? A tattooed, pierced, spiky haired Malfoy? A skin-tight, faded demin that's more than a little frayed cupping his ass and other bits Malfoy?
And a tense, needs to learn how to relax Harry? A straight-laced Harry who's stopped taking chances? A Harry who freaks out about the motorcycle (something along the lines of speeding death trap?)
