Thank you! *squishes*

Mom's much better. *nods*

and was thinking, "Clearly they haven't read the guide."

I feel kinda bad and conceited because of it, but I was thinking, "Please, please someone who's not me mention it," because the thing does contain some explanation of the "so you're new and wonder why you didn't get many reviews," problem and suggestions on how to fix it.

I do it for the Prophet (minus my squicks), but that's where I draw the line.

I said it before and I'll say it again: This fascinates me about the prophet's editors and I see it as a sacrifice on your part.

If I write something you don't like, I don't expect you to read it. Just like Jae and Alaana won't read my angst. Just like I won't read Harry as a cheater / Harry or Draco with someone other than each other / cross-gen, or many other pairings and squicks. No hard feelings. Ever. ♥

Bless you. To me, this seems so logical. You're one of those authors I always read and I often leave you a silly review, but I DO LIKE THE FIC if I reviewed it. I just forget to say it explicitly sometimes. I think I left you a comment or two saying, "THIS IS ANGST! I WON'T READ IT!" I mean, I know you enough to know you'll understand I don't suddenly dislike your writing, I just don't want to read that theme/plot or something.

And if I say, "I liked how you portrayed Harry's confrontation with the criminal," this means, "I liked the rest, too, but I liked that part best. Or you handled that part better than I usually see it handled elsewhere."

Nothing rivals my post for length. :D *is embarrassed*
