You just type away, then copy and paste into an HTML editor.

Yes. It doesn't add code then. *checks* No, no code. (If pasted into Dreamweaver, they yes, it adds code, but in LJ's HTML posting box (or Notepad) no. Yes, if I OPEN it with Notepad, if I merely copy&paste: No code.
